Chocolate Zucchini Bread

Can something be healthier dessert than a chocolate cake with vegetables ? Since everything tastes better when it has chocolate, so we will bake a healthy chocolate cake with courgette/zucchini. Yeah you read it right, a chocolate cake can also be healthy and the best part is that you don’t even taste the vegetable in it. Everyone loves chocolate but feel guilty after eating at one point or the other. This is definitely the solution to your guilt. A lot of vegetable, less sugar, so light and still tastes like dark chocolate. 🙂  Continue reading “Chocolate Zucchini Bread”

Pav Bhaji

Doesn’t matter from where you are, you are going to love this. Pav Bhaji is very special to my heart since a lot of memories are attached to it. When I was a kid, I didn’t want to eat green vegetables. So my mother tricked me into eating them by putting them all in Pav Bhaji. And I would eat happily without a clue. What a smart and healthy way to trick kids!!

Chinese Fried Rice

Chinese Fried rice are most popular type of rice and one of my favorites when it comes to having it with Manchurian. I include a lot of veggies to make it more healthy. Vegetables and sauces give it a tempting color and taste. Moreover, it’s really quick to prepare.

Note: Since a lot of people want this recipe before weekend, I am really sorry I don’t have step by step pictures but I promise to upload it soon. 🙂  Continue reading “Chinese Fried Rice”

Macaroni – Indian style

Our best friend in Hostel when hostel food feels like crap!! Mid night snack or breakfast, evening snack or dinner, want something Yum without much efforts?? Macaroni would be the best fit.

Macaroni always makes me nostalgic. It brings a hurricane of memories. I still remember the time when we used to hate hostel food and cooked macaroni (sometimes mixing it with Maggi also). When a friend was sad and grumpy, macaroni was the key to her smile. Macaroni was also a travel partner, cooking macaroni for colleagues, early morning macaroni for fiancee. Oh wow!! I just realized, macaroni is really a close friend of mine. And hence, I am going to share it’s recipe with you so that you can also make a nice friend. It is tempting, loved by everyone, all time favorite and a demanded recipe.  Continue reading “Macaroni – Indian style”

My Style of Paneer (paneer 101)

Should I call it Kadhai Paneer or Paneer labaabdaar or Shahi Paneer? I just never understand these names. There are 100s of Paneer (cottage cheese) dishes, most of them are cooked in Kadhai (hindi word for a deep pan), then why name only one of them as Kadhai Paneer? I would rather name it in codes like Paneer 101. If you come up with a nice name, please let me know also. 😛  Continue reading “My Style of Paneer (paneer 101)”
